Embracing Hope: A Call to Action in the Jubilee Year

Fellow pilgrims of Hope,

As we live this Jubilee Year of Hope, a time of profound reflection and renewal, I invite you to join me in embracing the spirit of hope that should permeate our whole selves and communities.

In a world often marred by darkness and despair, particularly when we are affected by natural disasters and a day in and day out family conflict, hope serves as our guiding light, a beacon of hope illuminating the path to continue without giving up instead move towards a brighter future. It is a virtue that empowers us to overcome challenges, to persevere through adversity, and to strive for a more just, compassionate and resilient society.

This Jubilee Year offers us a unique opportunity to rekindle the flame of hope within ourselves and to share it with the world. It is a time to examine our own lives, to

acknowledge our shortcomings, and to commit to personal transformation. It is also a time to reach out to others, to offer support and solidarity, and to work together to build a more just and equitable world. There is no one in this world who can say I am very poor that I have nothing to share neither a rich man cannot claim: I am very rich that I do not need anything from others. Hope teaches us to reach out to others in our own capacity and in our own limitations. Hope invites us to live in spirit of solidarity and fraternity. This alone can transform our world into a community hope-filled with love and unity.

As we embark on this journey of hope, let us remember the words of Pope Francis: “May hope fill our days!” Let us embrace this message as a call to action, a challenge to be agents of change in our communities and beyond .Remember his message to us at his visit in September,9-11, 2024: “And you, young people you are the majority of the population of this land and your presence  fills the land with life, hope and future. Do not lose enthusiasm of faith and do not stop smiling, for your smile is a sign of Hope.” Pope Francis.

Let us strive to be beacons of hope, radiating love, compassion, and understanding. Let us cultivate a culture of hope, where every individual feels valued and respected. And let us work tirelessly to create a world where hope is not just a dream, but a tangible reality for all.

In this Jubilee Year, let us embrace hope, nurture hope, and share hope with the world. For in hope, we find the strength to overcome any obstacle, the courage to face any challenge, and the unwavering belief in our Good and Loving God who walks with us, never abandoning us leading us to a better and happier world to live in..

In God alone is our Hope, In God alone is our strength, our Joy, Love and Peace!.
